Frequently Asked Questions

Do you make any vegan desserts?

YES!! Kinda hard to miss, but no problem, we forgive you! Jokes apart, we make only delicious vegan treats. Check out the About Us to learn more about who we are and what we stand for.

Do you offer gluten free items?

Absolutely! We offer gluten free versions for all of our desserts. Choose your treat from the Shop and select the gluten free variety listed under 'Choose Options'.

Do your products contain any allergens?

Our products are completely FREE of four major allergens - milk, eggs, shellfish, fish. All items, except the Salted Caramel Cheesecake Bars, are also soy free. And while, most desserts originally contain wheat, gluten free options are available for all! However, some of our products do contain peanuts and tree nuts. Once again, you can select the nut free variety for several of the desserts. Please refer to the ingredient list under each item for more specific information. 

What is the shelf life of your desserts?

Our brownies, blondies, and cookies can be stored at room temperature for up to a week or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Our cakes and loaves can be kept at room temperature for 4-5 days or in the refrigerator for over a week. For our cheesecake, lemon bars, and cookie dough we recommend you store them in a refrigerator for up to a week. All our treats can be frozen in tightly sealed containers for up to 4 months.

Can I freeze these desserts?

YES! You can freeze our desserts in an air tight container for up to 4 months. Thaw and enjoy when ready!

Do you offer mix-and-match or variety pack?

Not yet. But we will have options available very soon and our subscribers will be the first to know. Make sure you subscribe if you haven't already done so.

When do you come out with new products?

We will always be introducing new and seasonal products. Make sure you subscribe for extra exclusive new product announcements.

Do you deliver?

Yes. Currently we are only able to deliver in Vineland, NJ and several nearby zip codes. All other orders will be available for shipment throughout the United States only.

Where are you located?

We are an online bakery operating out of a commercial kitchen located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Our office is located in Vineland, NJ.

How does a home bakery work?

Under the NJ Cottage Foods Law we are now also certified and licensed to operate as a home bakery. Home Bakery orders may only be picked up or delivered and are NOT shipped. For more information about the NJ Cottage Foods Law, please visit NJ Health Department.

Is Plant Baked a home bakery now?

No. Plant Baked now has two modes of operation. The first mode involves the production of our Shipped Orders in our commercial kitchen. This will continue as always. Under the second mode, we now offer local customers discounted treats and a wider menu to choose from. These treats are produced in our Home Bakery and are discounted as we have eliminated the costs required to produce in a commercial kitchen.

Can I still order from the Shipped Orders Shop if I'm a local?

Yes. You may still choose to order from our Shipped Orders page and have your order prepared in our commercial kitchen. Delivery and pickup are available.
